SITv Lyrics

Hotel Miranda by Dr. Zeppers

On a dark desert skyway, foul breeze in my hair...
Smell of death all around us, Haunted skyway full of despair.

Up ahead in the distance
we see a shimmering light
Our heads were heavy,
other prospects were dim,
so we stopped there for the night...

There he stood in the saloon
We heard a shufflng deck.
There was a ghastly dealer standing there.
in hands was Captain Bloods bet.

He said take a number,
we would have to wait our turn.
all the games were held up,
Until Captain Bloods cards were returned.

Welcome to the old Hotel Miranda...
Such a lonely place,
the spirits in our face.

Plenty of room in the old Hotel Miranda...
If survival is the plan,
then we must find Bloods poker hand.

We ventured out of the saloon,
5 cards on our mind.
Only had the dealers clues.
Several tasks for the cards we'd find.

First we looked for father Ryan,
His ghost in the general store.
Finding the pages of his sermon,
Was his requested chore.

Mr. Hockley had another card.
He kept an eye out for souls.
Releasing trapped mutineer ghosts.
Was the cost of his tolls.

Bosun bud, a foul round spook.
Cooperation not on his mind.
The pirates defeated him and his crew.
And Bosuns card they did find.

Welcome to the old Hotel Miranda...
Such a lonely place,
the spirits in our face.

Plenty of room in the old Hotel Miranda...
If survival is the plan,
then we must find Bloods poker hand.

Pickman has the 4th card,
He is alive and needs a way out.
Clearing the street for his escape.
Is what he is all about.

Wasnt hard to get the fifth card
It was hidden in a grave.
Had to fight some troubled spirits there.
But now Bloods poker hand had been saved.

Placed the cards on the table.
And with a flash Death won the game.
Closing out this fable.
Captain Blood had lost in shame.

Captain Blood had to pay his debt.
and most everyone in time will too.
Let this be lesson...
Cheat death and you will lose....
